Ep. 53: The 2018 Year in Review Shadecast: Jenna Hanchard -- KING 5, Gee Scott -- KIRO FM and Andrew Hammond -- The News Tribune

Y’all 2018 has been a long year… We’ve seen the Parkland Shooting, #MeToo, the fall of Kanye (for the record, I’ve been off Kanye Island since at least 2009), BBQ Betty & Permit Patty, the Seattle Headtax fiasco, and a ton more. I convened a panel of some of my favorite journalists from the region and we chopped up the most important national and local news stories of 2018.

I’ve never laughed this hard in my entire life. “Kshama Sawant is the Al Sharpton of Seattle politics” (said as a compliment BTW) was only like the third funniest line of the episode.

Featuring:

Jenna Hanchard — KING TV

Andrew Hammond — The News Tribune

Gee Scott — KIRO FM 97.3
